EventsEdit

Bob Hope has done it again. Another ceremony hosted for the umpteenth time in history. The categories for art direction, cinematography, and costume design were merged for good. The best picture category had an eclectic group of films focusing on the chaos that happened during their respective eras. Gregory Peck had all of the acting nominees attend the ceremony but Katherine Hepburn was not available to go and Spencer Tracy had died. The ceremony was postponed two days later than the normal day thanks to the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. Gregory Peck received the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award, Alfred Hitchcock received the Irving G.
